01What is Sonira?
Sonira is a voice dictation app for Mac. Hold a hotkey, speak, and it types clean, punctuated text straight into whatever app you have open: your email, Slack, a document, the browser, your code editor.
02How is it different from Wispr Flow?
Same core idea, a different bet. Sonira is focused and carefully made: the dictation loop done well, without the clutter. It is genuinely multilingual, with real European and Brazilian Portuguese and clean switching between languages mid-sentence, not a single hundred-languages bucket. More features are on the way.
03Which languages does it understand?
English and Portuguese today, with European and Brazilian Portuguese treated as distinct, plus mixing languages in the same sentence. More languages are coming.
04Does it work in every app?
Yes. Anywhere you can type, you can speak. The text appears right where your cursor is.
05What happens to my voice?
Your audio is sent securely to be transcribed into text, and then it is yours. We never sell your data or show ads. See the privacy page for the details.
06How much does it cost?
It is free while we are in beta. Paid plans will come later, with fair, local pricing per market.
07Is there a Windows version?
Mac first, Windows soon. Both run from one codebase, so Windows is a port, not a rewrite.
